Actually, not a catch. It flew onto one of the outdoor dining tables at camp and some kids discovered it and came running to me excited. It was probably nearing the end of life as it was quite listless and didn't resist getting picked up. After posing for a few photos on my hand, it was released on a nearby daisy. It's the Ten-lined June Beetle, AKA June Bug. A Scarab, a member of a family of beetles sacred to many ancient Middle-eastern peoples.
