A New One on Me!

 Ramiria botrytis, I believe.  A coral fungus.  Walking the dog, I almost missed it.  Around six inches across, but nearly buried when I spotted it.  Amazing.  I expected to find tiny fish floating around it.  I hear it's edible, but I'm not chancing it.

Doesn't this look like it belongs in a salt-water aquarium?
