Slugfest

Nothing to do with fighting.  Just slugs taking a stroll, possibly hoping it's spring.  But, they're wrong.  It's snowing again.  Heard someone at the gas station say, "It's going to be a late winter."  How does he know?  Oh, it's already late. :)  That's like the wet rock that tells you it's raining. 
Two things always fascinate me about slugs.  First, the incredible muscle arrangement that allows for the telescoping eye stalks.  Second, I will always remember the video clip on "Way Cool Creepy Crawlies" of two slugs mating with an aria playing in the background.  Funny thing is they're hermaphrodites.  Hermes + Aphrodite.  Cool word.
