I had high hopes for my favorite Black Oak in Quincy, right in front of papa's Donuts. It is showing some amazing color, one leaf at a time, but many leaves are already turning brown (remember my earlier prediction of a not-so-hot color season?), so we won't see the whole tree flame-red this year. So, on my daily donut run, I'll enjoy it one leaf at a time. And, Harold, who is enveloped in fog most mornings (not his personality!), can enjoy these from afar.
My spirits soar, if not my eyes, above the foggy, foggy dew. Thanx Joe.
