Here's a better focused view of the Treehoppers that were tiny babies a couple of weeks ago and now are around 4 times as long and have changed the orientation of their strips 90 degrees.
On a neighboring Black Oak, a new crop of babies has emerged. Weather permitting, this could go on for another month. All the while, I'm trying to learn more about them. They definitely don't seem to be harming the trees.
