Wandering the Streets of Quincy

Here are a few more images from yesterday's walk around town. The above flower was in someone's sidewalk garden and I don't know what it is other than some type of composite.  Striking, and the bee thought so, too.
Hooker's Evening Primrose is still hanging on in the ditch in front of Safeway.  The water is still flowing, so lots of late season flowers are still there.  Wild Sweet Pea the most common.
 'Tis the season.
Very seedy maples alongside Safeway's loading dock.
I love this plant.  It's some sort of cultivated species that had blue flowers in the summer.  I identified it back when it was blooming and have since forgotten what it is.  Looks just as dramatic when dried up and gone to seed as it did when freshly bloomed.
