Playing With Light

The Sunday afternoon sky had lots of cloud action and the sunlight poked through, off and on, at weird angles. I got some interesting photos. Snow scenes can be so bright that we get what digital photographers call "noise." But this afternoon, there were just enough clouds that the snow didn't overwhelm my sensor. Also, this area at the north end of Mill Creek Road captured enough sunlight that there were pockets of quite warm air. Interesting melting patterns everywhere. It felt like 60 degrees, but 5 minutes later, when I arrived home at the "cold spot" it was all shady and felt like 30's. The contrast was invigorating (euphemism for 'cold as h....).
