This day started off cold, damp, and cloudy, so I didn't have high expectations for nature photography. Then a beautiful Lepidopteran landed on a window in my dining room. I took a couple of photos. Then the flash, or my frightening mug scared him/her off to another landing site. Thus, the two photos here. Then, at school, I saw an experiment involving bulbs - tulips? daffodils? I don't know - underway on a windowsill. This was a pleasant distraction from a rather long staff meeting. I enjoyed thinking of the students monitoring the progress of their plants and possibly their excitement when they discover their experiment on the Internet!
