Forgot One!
I guess I forgot how to count. I left off this cute little spider from my previous post. This one was growing among the Mountain Lady Slippers and Coralroots, both orchids, and had me wondering if they're pollinators of any of the flowers nearby. Most orchids are pollinated by tiny wasps, but spiders chasing the wasps could inadvertently do some pollinating too. In the next few days, I'll try to find time to linger by these flowers and see if I can discover who's visiting.
