They did it!
Yesterday there was just a hint that some of the juveniles would become brightly striped adults after their next shedding. Must have happened over night because here they are! Maybe by tomorrow the whole group will have finished the process. There are around 50 altogether on two neighboring branches. It's the Oak Treehopper, moving toward the top of the list of my favorite bugs.
