A Sampler from July 2
A pair of Dimorphic Longhorn Beetles on a daisy was a highlight of yesterday's "bug walk" with the kids. Later today I'll post other species of flowers and bugs that we saw including a couple I'd never seen before. Very good bug hunting day. One of the kids found a snake fly. And we saw the Goldenrod Crab Spider in the act of taking a meal again. Same spider on same flower, I believe. She's getting to be a regular tourist attraction!
