Coming Soon to a Roadside Near You
The early leaves of these three have broken ground in the Quincy area, and the moist Earth is trying to get them to bloom, but intermittent snow storms are delaying Spring further. It's going to be great one for wildflowers though. I think in two weeks we'll see all of these blooming. From the top, we have a yellow violet (oxymoron?), Henderson's Shooting Star and Blue-eyed Mary. When I first see them bloom, I'll identify specific spots for viewing/drawing/photographing, or just looking.
