Here are some more views of the beautiful little Oak Treehoppers we found on our Saturday afternoon expedition up Peppard Flat Road on Claremont Mountain. Mostly adults and a couple of juveniles. A very colorful cluster. These critters are very small, and usually not noticed, as the following two photos will testify.
My wedding band is 4 mm wide, or around 1/6 inch. So, the Treehopper is around 1/3 inch long.
Click on any of these photos for a closer look.
