Back Home Again
Between excursions around town and American Valley, I maintain watch on the insect life in my yard. I'm still puzzled why the Oak Treehoppers have only occupied two small branches (so far as I have noticed) out of the many that line our driveway. Click on these photos for a close-up look. I find the young, striped ones particularly intriguing. To me they are to the bug world what anime-style cartoons are to real humans.

It's not me; it's the bugs. But, thanks anyway.
