More Than a Hint of Fall Colors
Fall colors in the Quincy area have not yet advanced to the point where we see large swaths of yellow, orange and red while driving along at 55 mph. However, for those patient enough to get out and walk around, there are some brilliant colors among the shrubs, and even on individual leaves of trees that are still mostly green. All the above photos were taken today on a stretch of Highway 89 between 10 and 15 miles north of Quincy, or, as known by locals, between the Greenville Y and the Taylorsville T. For closer viewing and captions, click on each photo. Enjoy. I did.
