He could be correct. But F. micrantha does grow in neighboring Butte Coounty, and From the online photos I've seen, I think mine looks more like F. Micrantha. Is there a real botanist out there who can tell for sure from my photos? Also, if there's a botanist in the area who has a current edition of Jepson, I'd be glad to show him or her where these are growing.
